Day 199 of 365

I'm trying to narrow today down to a single first experience. I'm attending my first Clexacon and standing beside thousands of human beings who are asking to be seen. It's one of the most humbling and invigorating experiences of my life.

On day 199 I made my LGBTQI+ connection.

What does that mean?

I met the editor of TAGG. This bi-monthly magazine, based in D.C. is expanding across the country and looking for more representation on the rainbow spectrum. I'm beyond excited to have an opportunity to be a part of it. I can't believe this is me and I'm finally coming out of my own shadow.

For those of you who have followed my journey, today was a life changer. You never know when you'll have an opportunity to see yourself in a new way.

On day 199 I found myself and I didn't even know I was lost.
