Day 173 of 365

Go Go Go

Since I was a child I have dreamed of packing an RV and driving for days with no course and no destination. I'm sure I'm not the only person to have this dream because on day 173 we elbowed our way through the recreational vehicle show at Burlington RV.

There is a slight hitch in this grand plan. I don't actually want to drive an RV. I want to sit in the passenger seat and navigate our path to nowhere. I want to make sandwiches while my best friend and life partner drives us down the road. I want to pee whenever I need to and maybe just pull over to the side of the road and take in whatever the countryside has to offer.

That plan will happen one day.

During this event I got my first taste of RVing and exactly how insane these vehicles and their camper friends are. It's ridiculous to walk through a mobile living environment with TV's, massaging loungers, refrigerators and microwaves. These are not the pop-up campers from the 70's.

As experiences go day 173 was fun and eye opening. I think I better start saving my pennies.
