Day 121 of 365
White teeth
Today you are going to hear about my teeth. If that grosses you out you might not want to read on. Why is my 121st day about teeth?
I've always had issues with my pearly whites. In recent years the fact that they weren't white was a big problem for me. I hate having my picture taken because time and circumstances have made them brown. Here's the real problem. As a child my teeth were damaged. In the early 1980's my four front teeth were bonded with a tooth-like material. After 30 years of coffee, tea and whatever else stains teeth, mine were looking extra icky.
This is a vanity thing. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I visited my dentist and had my bonding replaced with a modern material. I think they look better but they will never be white.
Today's experience involved a less chemical way of whitening. For the next 30 days I'm brushing my teeth with activated charcoal. I'm going to take pictures and time lapse them together.
Stay tuned for the video.
