Day 109 of 365

I am not Houdini but given enough time I could escape.

Today was an interesting experience. The goal was to open a lock without using a key. I've watched my kid do this many times. After today I can say that I've done it myself.

My youngest kid was a very patient teacher. With him as a guide I unlocked a file cabinet drawer. This might come in handy some day. My teacher wanted to capture it on video but I didn't think it would be good to show you how it works.

I'm not sure I want to know how he learned to do this himself but it was fun and I will continue to improve this skill. I'll admit that this was a bit tricky and if I wasn't so inspired I might have given up after failing quite a few times.
